My name is Fleur Roesink. I practise administrative law and environmental law, focusing in particular on the Environment and Planning Act, planning blight and compensation for loss resulting from administrative acts, the Open Government Act (Woo), sustainability and climate adaptation.

I obtained a bachelor’s degree in law and master’s degree in constitutional and administrative law at Radboud University. My decision to go to law school was prompted by a strong sense of justice which I have had all my life. I therefore wanted to get a close understanding of the laws and regulations we face as citizens. I then went into the legal profession to satisfy my need for a more analytical challenge. I also enjoy having a role in solving social issues in the area of administrative and environmental law.

Before joining Nysingh, I worked for several years as a junior lawyer in the area of spatial planning, in which I provided support to municipalities. Before that, I gained experience in various areas of law, including social security law, liability law and insurance law. I also volunteered at the Legal Advice Centre in Nijmegen.

I am stress resistant and resolute in my work and enjoy finding practical, people-oriented solutions to issues. I am passionate about my work and therefore give it my full commitment. The tangible result of my efforts for a case or client is what motivates and inspires me most of all.
